She leads the troublemaking gorilla and the rest of the animals back to their places in the zoo。 Peggy Rathmann did the text and illustrations for the picture book, which are simple and cute, allowing children to identify each and every animal。 The silly, troublemaking gorilla creates a short and entertaining story that is sure to keep the attention of young audiences。 This picture book will forever be in my heart as the story that, when we were young, helped my brother and I identify animals when we went on a trip to the zoo! Overall, this is such a cute, quick read that I definitely recommend。 。。。more

Such a fun little book, my 1 year old has enjoyed this one for awhile now。 There’s not a whole lot of words so it’s fun to make up lines for the characters and do the animal noises, my daughter gets a kick out of the pictures where the characters yawn!

This book is all about a gorilla that gets out of his cage! The gorilla sees the night watch zoo keeper has his keys on the back of his pants, so he takes them。 Once he does he lets himself, and others, loose and wonder throughout the zoo。
Carmen Furillo,
This is more of a funny book for children to enjoy。 Teachers and parents can enjoy this book when reading it to their children just as much as the kids。 Students will feel more engaged in the story if they are able to laugh while they learn。 The students will feel as if learning is fun to them and they will comprehend the story more。
Jack Bucan,
This is a great picture book with few words and the pictures tell the story。 It is great for early reader so they can tell the story in their own words as they go through the book。 It is a simple story about a gorilla who simply isn't ready to go to bed and he follows the zookeeper around to let all the other animals our of their cages。 It has great illustrations and details。 I would recommend this book。 This is a great picture book with few words and the pictures tell the story。 It is great for early reader so they can tell the story in their own words as they go through the book。 It is a simple story about a gorilla who simply isn't ready to go to bed and he follows the zookeeper around to let all the other animals our of their cages。 It has great illustrations and details。 I would recommend this book。 。。。more

Even though there are very few words I still would beg my parents to read it to me before bed。 The pictures spoke louder than words。

At first, this MODERN PICTURE seems like it will be similar to Goodnight Moon。 However, aside from the title, it is not。 This is a FICTIONAL story。 This book is about a zookeeper who walks through the zoo and says goodnight to all of the animals。 He has forgotten to do something in the book and there is a surprise waiting for him at home。 The text in this book is very simple。 The writing is INFORMAL。 This book is an excellent book to read to young children。 It is a good book for a EMERGING or BE At first, this MODERN PICTURE seems like it will be similar to Goodnight Moon。 However, aside from the title, it is not。 This is a FICTIONAL story。 This book is about a zookeeper who walks through the zoo and says goodnight to all of the animals。 He has forgotten to do something in the book and there is a surprise waiting for him at home。 The text in this book is very simple。 The writing is INFORMAL。 This book is an excellent book to read to young children。 It is a good book for a EMERGING or BEGINNING READER to read。 The words are common vocabulary words for a young age。 Children will love to look at all the different animals。 The ending of the book is a bit comical。 The author Peggy Rathman also illustrated the book。 The illustrations are detailed with vibrant colors using to be what looks like oil paints。 This is an excellent READ- ALOUD book。 I really believe that this will be an excellent book for parents to get for their toddlers or emerging readers。 。。。more
